My Paintings

This Painting is of my American Girl dolls pet Praline.I worked on it for three years!!I used acrylics to paint this picture. Now that my moms craft room is nice and clean I finished it in there!!
My inspiration for this painting came from Mont Saint Victoire by Paul Cezanne.I used acrylics again!!!! I made this in second grade in art club,on March 12, 2012.A lot of people put it upside down. But  I guess that's because if you turn upside down it looks like a high heel, and I like high heels!

This is a pig I made in Art Club. His name is Oinky! The inspiration for this painting came from my food/take apart erasers kids {like me}like to collect! This one is a pig that I named Oinky! I used arylics.

This the first ever painting with acrylics that I painted! Its of a fat little kitty cat laying in his bed with a toy mouse! The inspiration came from a book called All Animals to Draw!

Thank you for looking at my blog post!!!

Christmasy Wonderland (my first challenge!)

Hi everybody!  It's been a long time since I posted to my blog but I have some projects saved up to show you.  The first one is my first ever card for a challenge!  I followed this sketch at The Paper Players:
And, here is my Christmas card:
It took me two days to finish this card!  I didn't know it could take that long!  My favorite part is all the Dazzling Diamonds on the boot and snowflakes.  I hope the ladies at The Paper Players like my card.  I sure had fun making it!  Bye for now!

Hawaii Bags

I made these bags at school. Aren't they pretty?
The purple one I made for a Mother's Day Tea party we had in my classroom.  Mama drank iced hibiscus tea and I served her pineapple canapes, fruit kabobs, mini cake and a cookie!  All 26 of us in my class made the treats.
As you can see, I even lined the bag!  We made these ourselves on our class sewing machine.
I made myself a matching pink and white one...
which I also lined.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Dia de los Muertos

This weekend I went with my family to one of our favorite stores.  They were celebrating Dia de los Muertos.  At their craft table, I decorated a sugar skull with glitter, glue, markers and sequins.  I had so much fun!  The lady who owns the store took my picture in front of the skeleton as you can see in this picture.  I am holding the skull that I decorated:

We used my sugar skull in our Dia de los Muertos display at home:

along with the mask I made at school:

Very Owl-ie!

My mama and I made these owl-ie clip bookmarks with her two-step Owl Punch and some jumbo colored paper clips we bought at Target. These are presents for some special people. The first two sets are for my new first grade teachers! I can't wait for school to start! :-)

And these are for a friend who is coming over for a playdate...she loves pink!

I can't wait to give these presents to my teachers and friends. Thanks for stopping by my blog...and please leave a comment!! :-)

Simple Cupcake Thanks

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted to my blog! My Mama had to catch-up on pictures of all my creations. I've still been coloring and crafting!

Over the weekend Mama and I stamped away in our craft room. We had so much fun!

When we visited my Nana in Michigan, I got some great presents from her friends! These are the thank you notes I will send to them. I really like stamping and then coloring all the white space! And I really like using Mama's markers! This cupcake stamp (Simple Birthday Thanks) is my favorite!

Everybody got something at Archiver's! I got this cute little girl stamp when we went to Archiver's with Nana--only I call it Aardvarks instead! Mama says this stamp reminds her of me. I added some streaks of color to her hair...isn't it cool?!

Thanks for visiting me!
